Live Rock ?

I am looking to buy a few more lbs of live rock. If I buy it from my LFS (already in thier tanks) is it okay for me to just plop it into my tank without worry? Will it affect my water perameters or do you only need to worry about it when you order it. Would I have to cure it?

if its from a tank at your lfs you should be able to just add it

You need to find out how long they've had the rock before just adding it. I would recommend using the nose method if your in a hurry. If you take the rock out of water and it smells in spots really bad, then it isn't cured and it has dieoff. Obviously this is not scientific in nature, just a simple way of telling. Good luck

Is your tank already cycled and has fish/corals in it? I know at my lfs they have a cured and a uncured spot for LR.
