Would a take be cycled

Hello I'm new to the sw world so I have a question. If I take 20 gallon of cycled water from my 75 and put in a 20 gallon tank would that tank be consider cycled this is probably a dum question but I thought I would ask

no not unless your using all cured live rock live sand ect
the bb is in the rock not the water

If you took some sand and/or live rock from your established tank, it would bring the beneficial bacteria with it and it would cycle faster though.
