I am enjoying all the great advice that is available for everyone, especially for beginners. I am starting out with a fluval edge 12 gallon with low light plants. I cannot find pp anywhere here in Huntsville, AL, so I tried 3 tablespoons Alum to one gallon water, and soaked plants forb3 hours. I didn't try bleach because I was unsure how long to treat plants. Not sure on fish yet, would like some shrimp and Cory cat. Celestial pear danios look great, but none here..not sure if tank would work for them or even how many fish and shrimp to add.
I am excited to get started, and its good to know I can find all the information I need in one place.
