New to salt water

Hi, I am new to the forum and new to salt water tanks. I have had many freshwater tanks but decided it was time to move up. I'm looking for advice as to the steps to take to get my tank ready. I intend to have a reef setup.

I am just getting started in salt water and have a 30gallon tank I am setting up as a reef tank. I was wanting to know how big of a sump tank I For a 30 gallon tank
