New to the site and to fish keeping

Hello Aquarium Advice,

I am Natosha. I'm 25 years old and I'm here because I'm diving head first into the world of fish keeping and gardening. Instead of getting a small tank and a fish or two to see how it went, I decided to take a rather large and odd octagonal tank and a 14" dragon goby out of my mother-in-laws care to turn it into an indoor aquaponics system. I am either about to make the best and most fulfilling investment or I've finally lost it and I'm about to be staring at a tank full of fish and a few sad plants. Very soon my journey to convert this awful home made eyesore into a beautiful thriving ecosystem will be well on its way and hopefully it will be a successful one with the advice of this sites readers!
