Hi People.
I have just joined your community, I am retired engineer living in the Philippines.
I am not an aquarium owner, but I have a large 20 mtr by 2 mtr, concrete pond in my garden, the intention is to culitivate Australian Redlaw crayfish under trial conditions.
The pond is about 3 ft deep and the bottom will filled with coral type rocks to about 1ft. circular water flow will be provided.
What I want to know is, can I stock small tropical fish (that won't interfere with young crayfish) for a visually pleasing aspect, and perhaps breeding.
Can you advise on what fish, 1. they need to stay small, 2. they need to be colorful, visible, when viewed from above. 3. It would be nice if they swam in schools, not hide in the rocks.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Regards Stuart
