this is a "skilter" and is generally not as good as a regular good quality protein skimmer. How big is your tank? do you have a sump?

It's an expensive skilter. I requested a brochure and they sent me an email. For the smallest unit w/o the pump is $249. They say it's not sold over internet and not sold direct from them, but if I want one they will sell it to me for that price. If it was the price of a skilter then I might have given it a try.
