POLL: HQI or Mogul and why?

What's the preferred bulb setup? HQI or Mogul base? Why? Thanks!

I had mogul retro kits and recently changed to HQI sun replicator pendants. I liked the color of the mogul bulbs better but I needed the brightness of the pendants. For intensity I would go HQI. For best color I would pick mogul. If the 55 gal in your sig is correct I would pick mogul. Disclaimer: All my experience is with coralVue products. Bulbs by different manufactures vary in color.

I am going Mogul on my 125gal 3x175w 14k. Remote ballast. I didn't really know there was any diff. So the HQI are more intense. meaning brighter from the same watt? What does HQI stand for?
