Power Head Question

I just bought two of these.
http://www.aquariumproducts.com.au/prod1331.htm

What does a head height of 1.5m mean?

Also are these usually submersible?

Thanks.

They are completely submersible.
head height means the maximum height that it can pump the water ( I am quite sure)
1.5 m is 1.5 meters

Oh ok, so it could pump water through say 1.5m of water straight up if you needed it to?
I'm just using them for circulation.
