Question about Nano Tank?

Hi!

I'm looking to buy my husband a Nano tank as a surpise birthday gift ? Can anyone set me on the right track?? such as buying, buying, kits??

I have a 12gal Nanocube Deluxe from JBJ and am happy with it. It is a pretty good all-in-one nano. Downside...the media that comes with it for the filtration compartments is useless in SW and no real place to add a skimmer.

I saw at my LFS a skimmer that as maybe 6-8 tall. It was made for nano's. Pretty neat.
