Will Fuge Critters die in Return Pump

My fuge is part of my sump like many others and I am just curious if the amp and copepods with survive the trip up the return pump to the display tank. Or should I try to put a sponge or something to block them from exiting the fuge and then just add them to the DT myself?

I know my two return pumps have sponges on the end but even without them they should be OK.
