Hey guys I have a concern about my betta, the last two days it hasn't been able to open it's mouth enough to eat the pellets that I usually feed it and I noticed a bump under it's gills that I don't remember being there. I've tried crushing the pellets but he doesn't seem interested in that so right now he's just not eating does anybody know what could be causing this?

Try posting in unhealthy fish section. He looks thin... Maybe some quick responses will help him get better!

I did post in the unhealthy fish but I haven't had any responses and he is still a young Beta (maybe that's why he seems thin) I haven't even had him more than 2 months and it's depressing that he is sick already because my last one lived over 2 years

I am not sure what the bump is but try treating with Betta fix, It's always worked very well for me when I notice something's not right with my Bettas.

I tried using melafix because I already had some at my house but the betta died about 2 days later
But I went out to pet smart a few days later and found a new male for the tank, his name is Sydney, his colors are outstanding I couldn't be happier
