Help anemone

I have a bubble tip anemone I have had it for 3 days it looked fine came home from work and it all shriveled up

How did you acclimate it? what are your water parameters?

also nems shouldnt be in a tank less than a year old and need intense lighting what's your light fixture?

Ph 8.0 8.2

I have a 2 10k 65w and 2 actinic 65w

How old is your tank? And like Rscomia said how did you acclimate it.

Tank 3 month In the bag 15 min added some of my water 15 min

your tanks to young and you should drip for atleast 45min IMO im also not sure if your lights are enough

+1 anemones should not have quick acllimation. Don't feel bad though many people make this mistake. Is it a green bubble tip anemone? or a red bubble tipanemone

id say try to take it back to store for credit asap if thell accept it but i dont think the nems future is to bright

You can take it back to the store or where you got it. Or you can hope for the best. IME green bubble tip anemones are hardier then red bubble tip anemons so it might make it if you baby it.

lol its all good are his lights enough? i really dont think they are nems need some high light

yep GBTA's need a minium of 150 watts 250 or above is best.

Oh and you are right. for example RBTA's need a lot more light to keep from bleaching

Ok thanks everyone for the knowledge do u think my star polyps will be ok they look healthy and what about my fish I'm a newbie to this I have 2 percula clowns sand sifter gobie, yellow tang, royal gramma

What size tank? the GSP should be fine

Also remember to feed the anemone weekly if your lfs won't take it back
