Please Help

I set up my 10g tank about 3 days ago and everything seemed ok until I used Api Leaf Zone.
Eversince my waters had a orange-brownish tint ant filter already looks bad.
Any advice on what to do?

Is this fresh or salt water tank? If sw why would you use leaf zone? Carbon should clear up your water for you.
