Just wanted to start this, just had my first successful (so far) spawn, and want to keep track of growth. Enjoy the pics, sorry some of them aren't the best of quality...

Here are some pics from 3/5, the morning after they started hatching (they started hatching sunday night)

Sticking to everything...

Here are some from tonight (3/12). They are just over a week old, free swimming, and being fed insforia (sp?) and liquid fry food until my starter microworm culture comes in.

Enjoy!! I will get some more pics as they grow. Current count is 30+ (they don't hold still long enough to count)

Mommy doesn't feel like taking pictures yet though she is a dark purple veiltail with red stripes in her tail.

growing quick though. They seem to have already almost doubled in size since they hatched.

Yea, they are my last two bettas. All the rest have died (i had 6 this time last year). I am soo glad they they like each other and spawned for me. He was really aggressive with her at first, it got to a point where I was going to take her out if he kept beating her up. About an hour after I decided that, she darkened up, and the rest is history

She was actually always my submissive female. In the tank with the rest of the girls, she would hide because the rest would pick on her. I gave her her own tank, and now she is always that dark purple.

I should get my microworms in the day or so, they will start growing really fast once they can eat that and BBS. Should only be another week til they are ready, we'll see how fast they grow.
