I have a breeeding pair of firemouths and after advice on another thread I have removed the other residents to a new tank, all going well so far !

The fry are growing by the day but now the Male has started attacking the Female - quite aggressive as well. He really is giving her a hard time.

Should I remove him from the tank and give poor Mammy a break ??

Remove the female. This happens to my kribs. One parent wants to raise the young alone and finds the other threatening. So remove the female. My female just killed my male cause i never removed him from the tank. I had another pair where i had to remove the female because the male wouldve killed her. It just happens :(
