I have a male and female in a 5 g and I jus put the male in will they breed an if the do how long till they are born and how do I care for the fry and do I need a breeder net

Lol ok let's see, yes they will breed, alot.
The female will give birth every 28 days or so and will produce varying amounts of fry, usually 40-80, the breeder net is pretty stressful to the female but saves the majority of the fry, personally I'd get floating plants or something for the fry to hide in instead of a breeder net, and as for caring for the fry, your gonna get so many you can just feed em crushed up flakes and the biggest and strongest will survive, the smaller ones will become a snack for ma and pa lol good luck
