So this will be my first batch of endler fry if she decides to drop for me (one of my other girls has been gravid looking for 4 months now and hasn't dropped) and I'm kind of worried.
I seperated her earlier today because this one was housed with female bettas and I know they'd make lunch out of the fry if they got the chance. And now I'm wondering if I may have pulled her too soon?

She looked very much like a box earlier today, boxier than any other livebearer I've had drop, so I figured it was time to move her....but now that I did, she looks very anxious and her gravid spot went from black to a reddish pink. Not sure what the deal is with that.. But I dont want to stress her out too much, so if it looks like she's still got a little while, then I'll add her back to her normal tank instead of QT.

Can someone help me? I'm sorry that the pictures arent that great but she's super nervous so this was the closest I could get without scaring her too badly..
