How long before you can tell what color babies will be?

I have a bunch of guppy babies in a fry tank. About 3 batches that is. I just moved 3 that are big enough into my big tank. I can tell some are darker than others but how log before you can see what color or design they will have? I lost my favorite guppy a few weeks ago and I hope he's the daddy to at least one batch of my babies!

Well, I fed them protein rich food, and spots show up first (black colors err spots or lines) then other colors will fill in. I fed crush granules of tetra color, bloodworms, daphia. They colored for me in 2 weeks or so. Longer on just granules or flakes. try first bites by hikari

I'v found the true adult colors are hinted at around three weeks. With full coloring at about 2-3 months
