Hi all!

I have never bred bettas before, and thought I might like to give it a try. I have an old 5 gal that I am looking to start again, an I was considering either trying to breed a pair of bettas or set up a planted guppy tank. I have 2 others tanks in which the bettas now reside, as I am we'll aware it is best not to put them together except to spawn. Any suggestions? Is a 5 gal big enough? What other equipment might I need?

Thanks!

yes it will work fine. sponge filter with very slow bubbles---heater at 80 -- fake planth on one end for female to hide in. low light. pm me with questions

Just be sure to have a large tank to grow the babies out in. Spawns can number in the hundreds.
