My platy is heavily pregnant with her first batch of fry. A little less than two days ago I noticed that she was getting harassed by the other fish in the tank--particularly a pretty large female Molly. I figured it might stress her out too much, so I transferred her to a large breeding net that is heavily planted on the bottom.
About twenty minutes ago, I noticed that she was starting to pant and hang out at the top of the tank. Is she stressing or is she in labor?? I am afraid to release her because I don't want her to get stressed in the nak from being chased by everybody. Should I leave her because she seems like she is going into labor, or should I take her out and let her get chased bc she is just unhappy in the net??
