So would the stone work until the fry are big enough to go back into the aquarium with the rest of the fish as long a I do regular water changes?

I use the stone until the fry are a few weeks old then use a filter (this is how I set up my fry tanks) when I first started breeding my guppies this was advised to me by a member on AA
Some current is good for the fry, it helps them gain strength and get ready for the current in the community tank

Alright thanks. Right now they are in a breeding net in the aquarium and seem to be doing really well. They are so cute to watch swim around and eat because they are so tiny.
