Spawning my Angelfish

ahh, that's so cool. I've had several angel spawns inside the community tank and they all failed. Farthest I ever got was the wiggler stage. Next time I'm going to remove either the parents or the eggs to a different tank and raise them that way.

I'm in the same boat as you jrp. Lots of spawing attempts in the late summer, early fall and then, nothing. All parameters are still the same and they still clean a couple of areas daily. I have no idea of why the female is no longer laying eggs. During those failed attempts, they were almost like clockwork, every Sunday evening at around 7:00PM EST.

Spawning My Angelfish - Update

3 weeks after free swimming the largest fry are starting to develope the classic angel shape. No coloration yet.
