Maybe because you just put them in there and are still establishing its roots. I bet once it is established it will grow like crazy.

BTW, not sure if I mentioned this earlier or not. I moved my filters from my 150g over. I now have a rena xp3, fluval 305, and fluval 405 on this tank.

Don't wanna steal any of your spotlight, but I got my 150g up and planted yesterday. Check it out if ya get a chance :) I hope it can be a 1/4 of what your tank looks and Id be so happy! Great job keep it up.

Yeah, I've thrown a few ideas around. I am waiting to make any real changes until I get the ferts lined out though. I'm actually thinking I may do a half iwagumi looking thing on the left side... a carpet of half glosso/half DHG split (glosso in the front, dhg in the back) with ludwigia behind it... with a big root in the middle and mosses and riccia growing on it. then the swords on the other side... but I'm not 100% sure yet. I want to do something different for sure.
 
I guess this would be considered pearling...

OH... and turn down your volume if its up... you'll hear my son yelling at me because I'm not playing with him :)
 
It's looking better and better every update. Looks really nice :) are you going to add more plants or are you just going to let them fill up the tank?

What plant is on the rock? Looks like a moss.
 
Thanks! No more plants... Unless I decide to buy more lol. There are some I want, but mainly for my 40... of course, this is where all the extras from my 40 get dumped haha.

Yeah, that's a big concern of mine too Neilan. Not sure why the wife put a sun right above my tank. She should have known better. But hey, if I get a bad algae problem, I can blame her :)
