I have this 75 gallon with home made stand and canopy I'm gonna perk up like my 10 gallon. figured I should document it all. Enjoy

A little worried about the fancy goldfish in here with live plants anyone know if they eat all plants? or just dead matter ?

Hi. Goldies will wreak havoc on the plants for sure. I think they are OK with some of the tougher ones like anubias and java fern but I've not tried it personally. I have kept anacharis in my goldfish pond and they don't mess it up too much, it still grows like mad.

Goldfish can be hard on plants. I have 2 55g planted with 4 large 6+ inch fancies in each tank. I use these plant anchors and they are the only way I've found to keep most plants from being uprooted.... Professional Plant Anchors (on sale)(reg. $2.29)

I have Swords, Crypts, Corkscrew Val, Dwarf Sag, Temple Narrowleaf, Ambulia, and a few other hardier plants in with them. One thing I have learned over the years is if I feed them veggies about everyother day they tend to leave the plants alone. I feed de-shelled peas, softened zucchini and cucumber, water melon, and alot of other items and while it can be a pain having to cook for them it does save on my plants.

I've got java ferns, anubias, elodea, a pond lily and vals in my 40g goldfish tank. I agree with rivercats. If they are fed a good amount of greens then they tend to leave the majority of plants alone.
