Tank divider

Has anyone ever used glass to divide a tank??? I have a 125 gal I need to divide, but I wonder if glass will affect the water flow??? I hate the nets!

buy a piece of acrylic or plexiglass and drill holes into it. glass will definitely restrict water flow

One single piece of this gave me enough to use as a top for my rainbow tank, they are kind of jumpers and a divider for my 55 gallon.

Its really egg crate. This was the cover that goes over a light fixture in the ceeling.

Yup its called egg crate and has many many many uses in our hobby

I just paid a fortune to get glads cut for a lid i didnt know this stuff existed! What else is it used for?

I used plastic mesh and report covers. So much cheaper.

Great idea but much too small for me. I have a 125 gal tank. I saw tons of ideas for smaller tanks.

How deep (front to back) is your tank? The egg crate comes in 2 feet by 4 feet.

It still comes out cheaper then a pre-made divider. Doesn't look bad either.

If you spraypaint them black with krylon fusion then its even better
