Productive day today. Got the doors mounted and sharp edges rounded over. Also I got the holes cut out in the back of the stand and the lights installed inside the stand. Did some sanding today as well. Just a few trim pieces and then I'm ready to paint.

Yea they are!! Awesome stand build! And you sure now how to make me miss the house and heated garage I sold 3 years ago along with all my toys...LOL

I use to work in a cabinet shop for about 5 years right out of high school. Then I switched careers. But I still haven't forgot how to woodwork. So this build I'm enjoying.

I got the funds now for everything but the fluval fx6. Which I'm hoping I can get it after Christmas.

Petsmart has them listed for $305 but I just picked one up for $242.99 from them. Just a FYI

Well finished up the stand today. Got all the trim work done and locks installed cause I have a great dane that loves getting into cabinets. The only thing left is some sanding then the paint.

Got the filter now. Not too much more to go. I will be running this along with 2 penguin 350s.

Well the stand is painted and assembled. The tank is all painted too. Went and picked up my glass tops today as well. The only thing left is move it inside and purchase a light. Not sure if I'm going LED or fluorescent.

Strange thing I just noticed That tank is a single center brace and the same brand at the lfs by be is a double brace..... Strange. Yours must be thicker glass.

All the Marineland 125s I've seen as of late have a single Center brace.

My LFS has 3 of them with 2 braces. They just got them in like 3 weeks ago. I'll have to double check that they are marine land.
