Steve-Have some hermit crabs and one cleaner shrimp . For fish;clowns, damsel, chromis, blenny and a tang but I still feel the crab is the culprit.
My circumstantial evidence is the fact that the hammer coral is doing fine. I guess Ineed to get a new test kit because my current kit tests for...
Last night when I got home from work I noticed there was no bubbles on my bubble coral. It is only a small little frag that I bought for 7 bucks and has been doing well for the past 4 days since it has been in the tank. It had about a cluster of 7 bubble and tentacles even come out from it . I...
So I should not put this in my just recently cycled tank??
Just kidding thanks for the advice. For my 2 month old tank we have a hammer coral and zooanthid that are both doing great for the past week now. But I will likely wait on this one.
Hat to jump in here but you guys never asked his question on the Calcium which is now a concern to me since I bought my first zooanthid and mushroom.

I belive the bulbs may be Bubble Algae which can spread quickly. Do not pierce them as this will just accelerate their propogation. Are your cycling the tanks with the light on?
Currently I have one chunk of LR in my refuggium in the hopes that the macro alge will root in the LR. Am I better off with replacing the rock with sand. Also what critters would you recommend to add to the refuggium? Right now I have a damsel that in there. He is being punished for now and...
I hope so.
How big is that?
How many do you have?
Are they clustered together?
What I am seeing is quite small and in several patches. Kind of suprises me because I have moderate lighting
(130w for 55 gal )
Finally something is growing out of my live rock. Aside from the hundreds of little brown worms (peanut?) and minature (1 cm)retracting flower looking things I have not seen anything too exciting growing out of the live rock . This morning I noticed some growth coming from a "dead" coral...
