I didn't have luck with those eating it. But every animal is different. Nip the algae in the butt though it spreads fast. I was out of town for 3 days and it took my tank fast.
I had the red algae once before, turbo snails took care of it for me. The last pic looks somewhat like a pineapple sponge. Look it up on google and see, if so they are harmless.
Looks like it could be a gorilla crab, if it is it's a fish killer. I would not put it back in the main display tank, if you have a sump and you want to keep him I'd put him there.
