How do you get rid of unwanted mushrooms?

I have tons of mushrooms and would rather get rid of them. What's the safest method?

Depends where they are. On glass, a razor or credit card works well to get them off the glass. If they're on rock, I've found you can use your fingernail to pry them off the rock. You can rubberband them and/or glue them to a frag if you'd like afterwards.

Most lfs will take them in for trade if they aren't a common color or are decent size. See if That's an option, also hit up local reef websites and see if anyone wants any!

My lfs will pay top dollar in store credit for a rock with them on it. He wont pay just for the mushrooms. He'll give me another rock to replace that one.

And if none of those ideas work for you, you can simply scrape them off the rock with a blade or similar and then kalk paste what's left, or it will grow back.
