The jar:
I found a jar approx 12 inches high and 8 inches in diameter in a second hand store. I'm guessing it's maybe 3 (or five?) gallons, I haven't tried measuring yet, I'm testing for leaks and will clean it of soap residue (I've already done this successfully for a smaller jar, so we'll see...
I noticed something that looked like an air bubble that was a bit larger than the rest and was moving erratically under the breeder trap I have in my tank. It was trying to get out from underneath and eventually escaped.
On closer look it appeared to be kinda like a tiny silvery tick or perhaps...
It's pink and narrow, and it's gliding along the glass. Approx 1 inch long.
The fish are uninterested. What the heck is this thing?
I'm not sure whether I can work up the courage to smoosh it and throw it in the trash... probably not a good idea to flush it...
