my clown loach has very small white spots on him. I have seen ich, and from what i have seen is they are fairly big white specks. My fish's arent large, in fact i could barely see them. What could this be?

well, sorry to say a plec isnt the most interesting kind of catfish you could get. they are mostly just algea eaters, and hide a lot. I would recommend something like a pictus cat, and not getting all those smaller fish. (pictus get along with loaches well, i have some meself). I read in a...

One big mistake. never ever fully drain out the tank. This will get rid of all the good and bad bacteria, and your tank will have to cycle all over again, which could just as easily cause deaths to new tank syndrome as an infection. I recomend doing water changes (maybe 20 percent). Hope...

well thanks for the advice guys. I know i have to do what is best for the tank, instead of what i would like in there. As far as the pleco goes, i am going to trade him in for store credit at my lfs once he gets to big. Then I will stick with what I have. About the loaches needing 3 or more...
