Will my corals suffer if i turn the light off for a week?

I have a Green hair algae problem on all rocks of my tank and on my zoos. I don't know where the phosphates are coming from. I only have 2 fish and allot of coral. My lfs advised to vodka dose everyday. I started that on Friday. Could my phosphates be coming from old ro/di filters? I just...

I have a mutant type of asteria stars that are munching on my acros, star polyps and zoos. I cant find a Harlequin shrimp at all. Out side of picking them off the rocks ( Too many ) what else can I do? I am loosing too may corals because of these things.

I dose iodine for my zoos and other mushrooms. My light seems to really make acros grow. The flame angel has never bothered my corals. He is a 3 year reef tank raised from a friend of mine.

I just turned my tank light on after being off for a while and I noticed 2 critters with babies on my glass. They look like slugs or snails without the shell. I have no idea what it is. Can someone please help me and let me know it it is a problem. I have taken the 2 larger ones out of the tank.

I just noticed that when I was moving some rock and coral around for flow and light, a piece broke off of 1 of my corals. It is now in a hole in my live rock ( I don't know how ) but should I leave it there? This is the Coral that broke.

My Coraline is growing, i have 4 seeded pieces in the tank. I have a test kit and everything is good. I did not have enough circulation in the tank but now that I got the new ph I am starting to see rapid growth of the Coraline. I have had no issues with things staying alive since the problem...

I had the puffer for 1 year and no side effects from any copper. I will keep an eye on things. If I start to see any signs of distress by the corals, I am going to change everything. I traded my puffer in for a store credit and really made out on a deal.

New tank activity I have now added my light a 400w 10k MH hung from the ceiling. I have added some new corals. I had to get rid of my puffer. I don't know what to feed these corals or what they are. Can someone take a look and let me know proper care for them. Sorry for the blurry pictures.
