I have tried viniger, lemon juice and a "CLR" type stuff to no avail. Also tried Ajax (Abrasive) cleaner and a scrub pad but it wont come off :-(

Hi, I traded some fry for a 30 gallon breeder tank and I cannot get the glass clear. It has a "film" on each side of the glass an no matter how hard I scrub or use a razor it won't come off. I upped the temp in my tank to 85 and left it there for 2 weeks. Huge algae explosion that I still can't recover from but the ICH is very much dead and my fish is happy again.

I have a 5.5g for my betta and it is just filling up with green algae. I have 2 10 watt CF 65k bulbs over it and am wondering if that is just too much. The tank has been running for 9 months or so, AC200 for filtration.

Yeah, it was definitly just slate on the bottom (Was able to look into the drilled hole). Cool little tanks though, my multi's would have been so happy :-)

Well even though the tank is the perfect size for what I need upon closer inspection, the cement bonding the tanks were really dried out and I don't want to waste the money working on a tank that could be "dying" :-) Now, to try to find a tank that is a 2 foot cube and only 12" high

my betta is living in a 5.5g with an AC200 on full force and he is doing fine. There is actually a lot of calm for him and he does seem to like to go around in the downdraft of the outflow. I might have a freak of a betta though :-)

Just to clear up the leakers, they were not cracked, errrrrr well the ones that I was looking at a little bit were not. It seems like the silicone just wasn't good at spots. I would never buy a cracked tank but there was a sold sign on a 75g or so bow that was sold so I guess people do. A crack...

I agree, It sounds like an overflow with the tubes of poly-filter stuff for mechanical only. Could have been a reef tank so the rocks would have been the bio filter or maybe there are bio-balls deeper into the overflow area. Who knows though.
