I was given a 100 gallon aquarium covered with coraline algea to the extreme. It was REALLY bad, and I had to remove it with vinegar.

I then had to use the Nexus products (#2 and #3) to remove the resulting haze and minor scratches.

It looks OK now, but I guess I should clean the Nexus buffer solution out before I put fish in it?

Should I just use soap and water?

Any suggestions GREATLY appreciated...

Thanks,
Mitch

Nexus products? Do you mean the Novus three part plastic polish? Great stuff that is!

I would think washing with soap and water would suffice but if you were worried, a good soak in a mild solution of vinegar and water then rinsing really well would be sufficient....someone here may have a better idea though. Good luck!

Wait, was this on a glass aquarium? I see that it is plastic polish, just don't know if it works on glass as I have never heard of it and I have a tank that is VERY hazy (Not even acid would clear it up) and would love to try another product!
