The temperature of the fixture and ballast seem high to me.. In a 75 degree room, the fixture is 124 and the ballast 115.. Does this seem to fall in line with yours?

I went with the 10k color setup. I wanted to match my 10k t5 setup. Yeah, the flash doesn't cause any issues with the fixture or ballast, but takes away from the cool factor.. Thoughts on just leaving it dimmed and still on overnight? I think the max dimming is down to 10%..

It's what I've always ran with my t5 setup because I didn't like the look of the 6700k. The BML site says it should enhance the reds and purples.. We'll see I guess. :)

Went ahead and ordered the BML 10000k light. Also have a Reefkeeper ALC module coming to do the controlling of the fixture.. Should be fun and a nice upgrade from my T5HO setup. Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

I know what you're saying.. To neutralize the chlorine, you dose the while tank volume because prime doesn't know how to find just the new water. It has to act on all of the water that is there.. Regardless of the fact it may not have chlorine in it it not.. Remember, it does other stuff too.
