I am setting up a 75 gallon planted tank. Looking to do low tech, no CO set up. All my (limited) experience with planted tanks is with nanos so I have no idea what to do for lighting on a tank this size. Any suggestions, preferably ones that won’t break the bank?

Here's a silly question then...I have a 12 gallon nano, with maybe 10 gallons of water in it but i doubt even that much (22 lbs of rock in the tank, LR rubble in the filter compartments and sand taking up the rest of the volume)...wouldn't dripping for that long use up A LOT of my water volume?

You can move around your rock to re-aquascape your tank. I think most people will tell you they move things around time and time again until they find the look that they really like. Just keep an eye on your shrimp if you are worried about smashing him, but even then i wouldn't worry too much...

IMO since you already have the fish and it has lived for months seemingly happily in your tank, the smart thing to do would be to hold on to it. If you took it back to the LFS then the chance of it surviving will greatly decrease, but like i said, that's just my opinion!
