    Thanks we do water changes every week and the fish that where in there stopped eating close towards the end but we did put just a little in there for the shrimps. So iguess we wint put anything in there for a few days and do a water change today, and see hows it goes maybe in time my shrimps...

    Cardinal tetras - dangerous water parameters?

    Here is what little input i can give you is keep an close eye on it and do a PW every two days for a few day, but if it spikes then do one every day for at least 4 to 5 days. Maybe some one else can give you better advice or input but this is what i would do :|

    no it isnt raised as far as i can tell in any form or fashion and the other Oto fish dont have it, honestly it almost looks like a birthmark the we as humans would get its a very light brown. Could it maybe a bruise?

    Well i know from my 5 black widow tetras they tend to stay away from my guppies but my guppies dont stay away from them :) since guppies tend to like to swim all over. As far as them loosing them cause of stress i cant say that that is true or false maybe you should IM Guppy_man he could answer...

    Well did a search on them and here is a site with a little information as to why your fish may not have tails http://www.exotictropicals.com/encyclo/fresh/characins/whitetetra.php i could be wrong but it sounds to me like that you have a fin nipper somwhere.

    HHHMMM; that is strange have you tryed black widow tetras? They are suppose to be very robust i also have a very high PH balance of 8.0 srry cant ofer much more information.
