I bought two T-8 6500K 750 lumens for my cichlid tank. They are 18 inches long. I bought them at Lowes instead of petco. I got two for the price of one at Lowes. My question is will those make a difference ? I read where there's not much difference in bulbs from petco and lowes.

I love watching my African cichlids doing the fast twitch shaking dance. They never seem to bore me. Btw what does that mean. I'm guessing dominance? They flare up and change colors while dancing and going in circles.

I took all the rocks out. A lot of hidden poop under the rocks. Did 50% water change. Try to put the rocks in neatly and quickly and get the filters running. What y'all think? Don't be to harsh!

I just recently bought a new syphon that's 25 feet long. But the attachments do not fit my sink. I still can syphon water out and put the end of the hose in the tub but how can I syphon water back in the tank? Any ideas? Can you u fill up the tub and if so ... How?
