Not sure about the crushed coral..whats the reason you are using it..? As far as gravel vac...I have sand myself but I still try to have a clean bottom. To much build up leads to higher nitrate and algae issues...

If you do large weekely water changes(50% +),..I wouldn't think so. I think the GH booster would be better because it has magnesium and calcium at the correct ratio. And those doses are for ever other day. Macros on day 1, Micros on day 2, then macros, etc...this is dependent on your lighting...

Kno3=7.5 ppm,..but that also gives you 4.73ppm of k(potassium),..if you don't use that I would really suggest supplementing with k2so4 to a target of 7.5ppm. The kh2po4 target is 1.3 ppm and also gives you .54ppm of k. You might need more kh2po4 depending on your lights and plant uptake. For...

I am pretty sure the target ppm was researched and tested. Its handy to know how much fert to add to get to the ppm you are targeting. As always there is sure to be some tweaking done as every tank has different uptake....

I used the same pps pro pack and dose it dry. Its hard to get salts,.especially the k2so4,..to dissolve in 500ml to get the correct ppm,..unless I dose like 30+ml.... I don't have any issues dosing dry. The 75+ inhabitants don't pay the salts much attention..and so far I really like the results....

Yes I do..I can see a big difference in plant growth. I can tell the plants have a very healthy..sheen..?....on them. I like the thought of not limiting the plants their nutrient uptake....plus I already do 50%+ water change a week anyway.

Hey, thanks everyone,....I got a lot of my ideas from ya'll though. I switched over to the ei form of dosing instead of the pps-pro. Lowered my light intensity on the e-series down to about 80%...... growth is still explosive....
