125g Jewel Cichlid tank Question

i have a 125 gallon tank that has a pair of jewel cichlids (male and Female). i alson have 5 catfish a JD and a bichir. im planning on moving the JD to another tank but was wondering how many Jewels i can put in a tank this size. any input is appreciated

I'd say either one more established pair (assuming your m/f are an actual pair) or at least another dozen, depending on how much you really like them and whether you want them to spawn/raise their fry in the tank.
