2 Gobys in a 30G?

just a slight question would a 29/30gal be too small to house 2 gobies? I've read they can be aggressive to same species unless there is proper space
 
After doing some research on here it looks like most gobies will fight with their own kind in a small tank. You might find a few that dont but I would not try it.
 
Clown gobies (Gobiodon) and Bar gobies (Ptereleotris) do not mind the company. If you have enough rockwork, firefish (Nemateleotris) can also work.
 
thanks for the info, eyeing a green clown goby and depending on prices i was thinking of either adding a 2nd (i've heard they can breed in aquariums) or get a cleaner goby

slight edit~ there wouldn't be any issues with housing a clown goby and say a bi-color blenny would there?
