Some of you know I had an ich outbreak and I have lost several fish. I have had the temps at 86 for 2 weeks now with salt and I just noticed my gourami bouncing off the air tube. Is that still a sign of ich?

any thoughts? its been two weeks today. I really want to lower the temps but I dont want to hurt anyone else.

I lowered mine b/c it seemed to be hard on my ram. Then he got fin rot! Go figure. Have not seem any ich spots since. 2 weeks was long enough for my tank.

This might be due to the fact that you are not changing the water often enough. Remember to also vacuum the GRAVEL! It's one of the most important parts. If he's bouncing off the air tube, might be a sign he's "Scratching" himself.
Also, salt isn't required to treat Ich, and most people I have helped solve Ich with have not needed to use Aquarium Salt.
What I would recommend in these circumstances would be to keep up with the water changes, every 2 days or so, and vacuum the GRAVEL.
