Okay, here's what I'm planning for a new 20 gallon long, south american tank, planted.

7 lemon tetras
8 silvertip tetras
2 bolivian rams
6 oto catfish

tell me what you think.

I do not see a problem with that. I would go with just one type of tetra, but that is my personal taste.

I wanted to have something for every level of the tank. The Lemon's like the upper tank regions and the silvertips prefer the middle and of course the bolivian rams would be in the botton probably along with the Oto's

I like different tetras. It's entreating watching their different "cliques" interact with one another.

I'm looking forward to getting this started...just have to be patient. I've watched videos of the different tetras and yes, they are fun to watch.
