I was wondering if a 20 gallon QT is large enough for a 225.

I have a 40 gallon QT now that I want to drill and turn into a refugium. WIll a 20 gallon be ok to house a larger fish such as a tang or similiar. I do not mind doing daily water changes if necessary but I do not want to have it be too small in the long run.

That will be fine, they will be happier in that then a 10 which is the most used size tank for a QT. Just make sure you put PVC pipe in so they have a place to hide.
40 gal fuge that will a nice size fuge...

Thanks. I have pvc in the existing one. I can also pick up a 29 gallon to use as a fuge but I thought 40 would be better. 29 gallon fits a liitle nicer in the spot but a 40 fits too just leaves no space. Would would you recommend?
