Sure, i guess it has been quite a while.
Everything seems to be running smoothly. I have been doing water changes every week, but was told don;t have to do that... so i guess i will see how things go with every two weeks.
My blenny has been out of hiding a little more lately, but still not long enough to get any good pictures of him.
I went on vacation for a while and came back to food caked everywhere in my tank, it even clogged my filter. I told my dad to just feed every other day and i showed him to just give a very very very small pinch of food, but he was an idiot and didn't get the picture, so a pinch to him means to shake the container over the tank, i come home and he said to me "the food comes out fast". GRRRR... so three water changes later i got rid of all visible food.
I think that is why i have horrible algea issues too.
Anyhow, also when i came home my water was very cloudy... so i added an extra AQ filter modified as a fuge. I now have an aquaclear 70 PH and HOB filter, and an aquaclear 50 HOB. I also have a small powerhead which is being used with my new UV sterilizer (Whooh, clearance sales are awsome, $17 for this bad boy). I hope it can help with the algea. It has kept my water alot cleaerer than usual though so i am very happy with that. Also, i dont have any more green algea growing on the glass.
The algea problem i do have is hair algea. EWWW... its everywhere.
Here is my UV sterilizer:
Anybody know a good solution to get rid of it. I was reading that lowering the temperature can help get rid of it, as can dosing calcium to get increased coraline growth.

I also bought this peice of LR because it had a little mushroom on it.
I also got a little conch, whom i love, the most interesting little creatures:
I think thats all i have to blabber on about.
