I have a 20 gallon tank with:
2 x emperor gudgeons
1 x peacock gudgeon
3 x african dwarf frogs
1 x killifish
I would like a show fish that stands out and is not to shy. My gudgeons could be considered a "show" fish but they're shy. I was looking for a fish that would always be out and not territorial because of my gobies. Any help us appreciated. Thanks in advance!

A male bolivian or blue ram would be nice. A dwarf gourami could work too.

I thought about a ram but I was afraid id have territory issues because of my gudgeons. And a dwarf gourami would probably work.

Maybe dwarf gourami are more bold, but my experience with the larger gourami types is that they tend to "lurk" most of the time rather than being out in the open. If you want something that's out and about as a centerpiece then an Angel would do better... But with that tank size and tank mates I'm not sure it would fit.

My DG was very active until my hornwort took off and spread. He's still active but now spends about half his time chilling in the plants.
