29 gallon convict tank

just finished cycling a 29 gallon tank that I'm hoping to put a breeding pair of convicts in. does it need some more rocks, some plants, hiding spots, etc. here are some pics, water is dirty cuz I just rearranged everything. thanks!

They may dig up plants but some more caves would help out. Quote Moguarko

found this old thing in my garage from a tank I had when I first started keeping fish in a 20 gallon tank 5 years ago. will this be better?

That will definitely help. When I was breeding convicts the used a root decoration kind of similar to that to actually spawn in and protect the fry. If you added some moss would also help the eventual fry. Looking good so far

Personal preference I guess but I tend to try keep mine as natural looking as possible but everyone is different
