35g Hex Acrylic Lid - Tips Needed

So I obtain a lot of acrylic golf cart windshields around 1/4" thick or so. I'm planning on using a tinted one to make my lid. They split in the center with a rubber hinge so I will use that as an access door. I plan on building box on the top to house the lights (hopefully 4 T8's). I found an LED desk lamp at walmart that is very bright and I will disassemble 3 of them and mount them as well for accent lighting. I also picked up 4 80mm pc fans for $15 at frys and plan on mounting blowing on the water then along with a 5th one on the light box blowing out. I'm making a switch box that will mount on the stand door with switches for master, fans, lights, ATO, filter, and more. It will all connect to the lid using a 24 pin plug for easy removal. Tips of mounting fans for better cooling or whatever is much appreciated.

Anyone know if you can run 120v flourescent lights through a .062" 24 pin plug safely?

Freshly cut and fans installed. Next step is the light box and LEDs. Fans in front will be ran through plastic conduit and on their own switch.

I finaly cut the light box. This is pretty much my first acrylic project so its not perfect but I'm happy with it. Just need to flame folish, paint, wire, and glue it on. I also built the switch panel that contains 10 working switched and 2 for future use. I should have painted the panel black but oh well
