Hello, I am purchasing a 20 gallon tank tomorrow to build a 3D background.

I want to know if anyone has ever been able to make one so you can change the background if you ever want to design a new one in the same tank, like a drop in 3D background.

This way your not stuck with the same one forever.

Thanks

It depends on how easy you want it to "drop in."
All of the foam bgs have to be siliconed in due to buoyancy issues.
The only easy drop in I could think of would be a fiberglassed one.

I'm anxious to see what you come up with.

I have a few ideas running around in my head, trying to figure out how run a filter and heater behind the drop in panel will be the fun part, and having a 5 inch bubble tube to produce a nice bubble wall, all at the same time only trying to take up no more then Two inches of space. Should be an exciting weekend.

Testing on a 20 gallon tank before I design the one for the 35 gallon tank.

Trying to figure out what others have come up with or anyone has tried it
